Ms. Kyeong-ok Kim
Ms. Kyeong-ok Kim is an accomplished collaborative pianist, composer, and arranger with Master’s degrees from the University of Toronto and Dankook University. She has performed in concerts, opera productions, master classes, and educational programs in both Canada and South Korea, and is a prizewinner of the University of Toronto Collaborative Piano Competition.
In her teaching, Ms. Kim emphasizes relaxed, efficient technique through correct posture and healthy movement, with a focus on advanced students and those pursuing music at a post-secondary level. Drawing on her strong understanding of human anatomy and muscular structure, she helps students build technical confidence, reduce tension, and perform with greater ease and musical expression.

Ms. Shirley
Ms. Shirley is a passionate music educator specializing in piano and bassoon. She has experience teaching students ages 3.5 and up, working with both individuals and groups. She creates fun, game-based lessons that nurture each student’s creativity while helping them develop a love of music and explore their own musical interests.
Ms. Shirley uses a student-centered approach, adapting lessons to each student’s goals and abilities to support steady musical growth.

Ms. Calista
Ms. Calista is a music student at Western University and has completed Royal Conservatory of Music Level 9 Piano. She has over 13 years of piano performance experience and one year of piano teaching experience, along with several years working with children.
She has a solid understanding of music theory and teaches beginner to early-intermediate piano students of all ages. Ms. Calista focuses on clear explanations, steady progress, and adapting lessons to each student’s goals while maintaining a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

Mr. Darren
Mr. Darren is a Bachelor of Music student at Western University specializing in flute. He has taught music to youth through the Canadian Cadet Organization as a music instructor and currently maintains a private flute studio. Through these roles, he has developed strong experience working with young musicians in both individual and group settings.
In his teaching, Darren encourages students to reflect, ask questions, and explore music through hands-on learning. Caitlin is a Bachelor of Music performance student at Western University specializing in trombone. They have completed Grade 8 Royal Conservatory Trombone and have over eight years of playing experience. Caitlin has taught privately for one year and in group settings for over three years, working with students of all ages from young beginners to adults and seniors.
In their teaching, Caitlin emphasizes goal-oriented, student-centered learning. Each lesson begins by identifying what the student hopes to achieve, and lessons are adapted to individual interests, strengths, and challenges.
