Brass Teachers
Caitlin is a Bachelor of Music performance student at Western University specializing in trombone. They have completed Grade 8 Royal Conservatory Trombone and have over eight years of playing experience. Caitlin has taught privately for one year and in group settings for over three years, working with students of all ages from young beginners to adults and seniors.
In their teaching, Caitlin emphasizes goal-oriented, student-centered learning. Each lesson begins by identifying what the student hopes to achieve, and lessons are adapted to individual interests, strengths, and challenges. Caitlin prioritizes interactive, hands-on learning and uses creative activities to support both instrumental technique and music theory. Their lessons focus on building strong musicianship, confidence, and enjoyment of music for beginner to intermediate brass students.
